Joseph Gualtiere is an experienced creative strategist and integrated brand marketer with an affinity for campaign advertising, media planning, content development & production, PR & communications, and experiential events within a variety of industries.

Currently, Joe is a Global Creative Strategist, Monetization at TikTok, working to inspire creativity and bring joy.

Joe is certified with Meta (Facebook) as a Creative Strategy Professional, with additional certifications in Apple Search Ads, Google Ads & Analytics IQ, Amazon Sponsored Advertising, Shopify Business, Hootsuite Social Media Marketing, Snapchat Ads Manager, Twitter Video Ads, Hubspot Inbound Marketing, LinkedIn Digital Marketing, in addition to TikTok, Spotify, Pinterest, Reddit, Yahoo, and more.

Joe’s work has been recognized by The Clio Awards' Muse platform, BizBash's "Most Innovative at CES," The Grammy Awards, 40 Under 40, and more.

A native New Yorker, Joe is currently based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

 

THE PROFESSIONAL.

CREATIVE STRATEGY + MEDIA + BRAND MARKETING

Prior to joining TikTok, Joe was most recently a Global Creative Strategist at Taboola (NASDAQ: TBLA), working on the Creative Shop team in New York with a focus on enterprise brands and agencies, including the likes of Amazon, Chanel, Yahoo, and more.

Before that, Joe was Head of Campaign Strategy for a UK agency overseeing full 360 campaigns for Columbia University, NYU, Carnegie Mellon University, and more. Prior, Joe was Director of Brand Marketing at a global brand management group, including brands like Altec Lansing, Le TIGRE, and Sports Water, while brand partnerships included NFL (Raiders, Jaguars), MLB (Yankees, Red Sox, Cardinals, Giants), NBA (Nets), in addition to Disney and Nickelodeon.

Notably, Joseph worked directly with celebrity entrepreneur and CEO Marcus Lemonis of CNBC’s hit show The Profit as Director of Brand Marketing & Communications for several years, overseeing the artistic and creative vision of countless businesses operating under the Marcus Lemonis Fashion Group agency and portfolio. During this time, much of Joe’s work was televised anf featured on CNBC’s The Profit. Prior, Joseph worked at Warren Buffett’s Richline Group, Berkshire Hathaway, specifically with Gemvara and its associated sub-brands. Special projects include partnerships with Vogue, Star Wars, Gilt, and Project Runway’s Tim Gunn.

Additional experience includes working with cultural staples like Playbill, NYC Parks Department, and more.

THE ARTIST.

musician & performer

Artistically, Joseph trained as a classical vocalist at both LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts (the Fame school) and The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Throughout his career, Joseph has been fortunate to sing backup for Elton John, James Taylor, Yo Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Michael Feinstein, Renee Fleming, and more. Past engagements have found him on the stages of Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art to name a few.

Creatively, Joseph has worked with arts organizations and productions like Diane Paulus’ The Donkey Show at American Repertory Theatre, in addition to Tony Award-Winning Huntington Theatre Company, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Opera Boston, Boston Lyric Opera, New York City Opera, and more.

More recently, Joseph could be seen and heard on stage at Carnegie Hall singing with The Oratorio Society of New York, recently nominated for a Grammy Award.
